Romel Model Management
Romel Model Management Reviews
I have only recently signed with them but the staff where really nice. Agents seemed genuinely interested in my career and where happy to discuss my portfolio and how to improve.
The agent I meet with was happy to walk me through how the agency worked. They where also happy to use my current head shots for there acting devision and had no sign up fees.
I thought there office looked nice and was greeted by the friendly team. I was specific with what I wanted from an agency and they where happy to hear me out. I think overall they look like a nice little agency :)
Romel Management approached me on Star now and said I was just what he was looking for to join his 'boutique agency'. Romel asked me to come in for an interview. In the interview he told me that there are no fees and that his company only takes a 20% commission on all jobs he finds me. He had already seen my online portfolio but on the day he said the professional photos I already had didn't suit the style of his Agency. He then pressured me into having a shoot with a 'recommended' photographer. He told me the she normally charges $900 but if I did the shoot the same week could get a discount, so could shoot for $550. Romel insisted I pay cash at the end of the shoot and not pay by card. I had the shoot which was ok, and give Romel the cash (yes Romel, not the photographer). Romel give the impression that I receive all images from the shoot, however I only received 3 images. But Romels choice of images, not mine. I didn't even ever get to see the rest of the shoot. After the shoot I never heard from Romel again! I since found out my friend was also approached by Romel on Star Now and had the interview, but refused to do a photoshoot with his recommended photographer so he did not allow her to join the Agency. This Agency needs reporting if this is how it treats all models.
